Well, here we are about ready to declare ourselves as factors now and henceforth in the affairs of Men's Hoops MVC !!
--Porter Moser has done a nice job of debunking the opinion of a ton of MVC out-landers that have said he cannot win in the Valley
--We are winning but need to--
---do well on this trip. If we win both , we are on our way--Tough but can be done
--We have four big time scorers led by Doyle who does it all well--When he is on a roll the opposition cannot foil the rest --They then score as does he
--When our guys tighten the screws on Defense--ball game over--see Braves second half 0020 measly points
----Carry this on , and we WILL post an upset or two
00This bunch has the mental strength needed to win
--When we do this, --upset--LUC will be on top---except of course in Chicago !!
--Now that we are at the edge, I feel that upset will come in the tourney
--Furthermore Porter has guided this team well despite loss of our sixth man--Chastain --another mark of a good coach.

I am confident that LOYOLA CHICAGO will be leading the way from this point on.--WE have too many guns to fail--We are NOW recruiting better Than ever.
GONZAGA Xavier and the rest had best get ready for us to return to the NATIONAL scene--YUP I am that confident !!!

Our record is 5-4 in conference play, and tomorrow's game we're only a 2 point favorite.

Well, Good Morning Pals !!
I have always tried to be as factual as I can albeit I do lean to the positive side--
SO !! I must say that I have NOT changed my mind--THIS team is the best we have had --so far-- since SULLY !
---WE defend like mother bears guarding their Cubs
---WE score well into the high seventies
-----Mostly by FOUR not by one or two
-----Have a leader in Milt-he scores, steals, passes to open man etc
---Our team has a certain toughness which has been lacking for YEARS--except maybe two seasons ago when we over produced

Our shortcoming is of course we ARE short.
---Our Coach is underrated --He is stealing wins because if this.

WE ARE good because of all of this--These last nine games will tell us a ton--THIS TEAM WILL SUCCEED !!

We need a full range of fans, Brot.... From cynics (Swella), to nervous wrecks (me) to fearless optimists (you''re usually in that group).

It DOES appear that we DO need fans and a lot of them !! YUP that is on LUC !! Not our team. These guys are just plainly doing it !! Another win ON THE ROAD !!
I just really feel we are as good or even better than I have written.
The guys were worried but truly should NOT have been. Now then we truly have a tough one up next !!

Hoping Loyola can get the 3rd seed in the MVC tourney. With that being said, assuming the Ramblers do not win the tourney what are their post-season chances?

NCAA at large, No.
NIT at large, No, based on the weak non-con schedule and the fact it is very hard to get in with all the automatic bids from conference regular season champions.
CBI/CIT: Yes, if Loyola would accept.

I like this team but WSU and ISU are going to be favored to win the tourney. Barring an upset the CBI/CIT is a strong possibility.

ramblermgr9599-- Loyola would have to win one (or more) of their games against Illinois State and Wichita State, and go 6-2 to close out the conference season to have an outside chance at a NIT bid. And it would help the case if our non-foes (St. Joes, San Diego State, Washington State, Wright State, etc.) won some games down the stretch to make their RPIs a little better. Historically, the NIT RPI cut-off is somewhere around the 85-90 range and we're at 115 after today's road win.
