In a nice gesture of sportsmanship, injured Christian Negron suited up on senior night and, to his surprise, was inserted into the starting lineup. By pre-arrangement with the opposing coach, Negron was left unguarded and scored an uncontested layup at the start of the game. Thanks Swella. A very nice story with nice ending. I look forward to next season with our three new recruits.)note we have that talented guard from I think Fairlaigh Dickerson who was very impressive at the preseason team scrimmage. But first on to ArchMadness. As an fyi, to any one planning on going there, the Westin room rate is $269 a night but if you prepay in advance you can get that down to $148. So get on that Starwood phone line and call and talk to an agent directly. Also Starwood is now a part of Marriott but you cannot use your Marriott points earned in the past for this occasion. |
