I watched the Illinois State game yesterday when they beat South Carolina, and thought they looked pretty good. And then today, I got a chance to see some of the ISU game against Boise State. Wow, the Broncos look really good. Scary good. Chandler Hutchinson, a 6'7" senior guard, had 19 points and 18 rebounds. Justinian Jessup and David Wacker are two guys halfway down their bench who might be starters on our roster. They led by 25 points in the first half, out-rebounded Illinois State 57-27 and were able to use a lot of their bench for heavy minutes. |

Boise St handles Ill ST with relative ease --So what ??? They are good--so are we or so we say--Now then to get to where we want to be , we must pile up wins-Boise being just another challenge on the way. As I have said before---It is NOW rug cutting time. As it now stands, we are good and will be even better when our two injured guys get in games. It looks to me like Porter WILL have his NINE go to guys. Ill St appears to be maybe a fourth place MVC team if that IF our guys stay focused as they did in KC we will be the best--- We are just plainly that good. |
