A few Stats as a team and individually. They make more difference within a single game to explain a win or a lose. They give us a look at the portrait of the team. We had ten players who averaged 11 minutes or more. Watson and Norris were the only two in the 30s. Shows the depth of the team and an ability to mix and match as well as kind of cover up for some of our foul plagued games. Des Watson led the team with shots taken by a good margin. He attempted 351 shots. He shot 41% from the field and 39% from 3...and when Des was off we usually struggled. We outshot our opponents, We outrebounded our opponents both offensively and defensively. We had 177 more assists than our opponents. We had more blocks, more steals. However we got beat at the line. 74% to 68%. We committed 75 more fouls and our opponents attempted 57 more free throws and made 78 more free throws . We played fast and aggressive on D and O..It would appear we will need to continue to be a deep team. We had 4 players who had more turnovers than assists. Alston 22/59, Adelekum 31/43, Rubin 24/38 and Mwamba 15/19 That is all I got...the stats are on the team site on the LU athletics page.
