With today's win, the Ramblers clinch the number 1 seed* and will play at noon on Friday.
*barring some crazy RPI shenanigans

I've heard that there will be an option for students to be taken down and stay over for the semi final and championship, and for very cheap too! It'll come out later this week, but should be a really good deal and very affordable! Hopefully get a lot of The Pack!

Here's something I saw earlier today from the Phoenix Sports Editor. Light on details, no limits mentioned, and deal that sounds too good to be true.... But if it IS true, nice deal....

That deal is so good, I'm considering the possibilities of getting a fake student ID.

I am really excited about the student deal for Arch Madness!!!
1. It shows a great amount of financial commitment from the university.
2. Assuming that LU makes it to the finals (and please dear jesus let us win) those students will form life long memories. It's memories/stories/adventures like those that will morph some of those students into Ramblermaniacs like us!!! And THAT is what this program needs.... that's how the Joe is going to be sold out for year and years to come.
Ramble on, Champions!!!

It is indeed true! All students got an email from Athletics with the details. $25 for bus and tickets to potential saturday and sunday game. Bus leaving at 8am saturday morning. Then MVC student hotel rate is $80 for the one night. I am thinking they must have been held up in some plans dealing with the valley and with our class/spring break schedule. Hoping its not too late for students to make plans...

Arch Madness is nearly set (Evansville/MoSt in flux):
PIGs
#10 Valpo vs #7 Evansville
#9 UNI vs #8 MoSt
Quarters
#1 Loyola vs UNI/MoSt
#5 Bradley vs #4 Drake
Valpo/Evansville vs #2 SIU
#6 ISUb vs #3 ISUr
Let's hear predictions. Who do you want the play the least? Which top seeds do we match up best?
My predictions:
Valpo
UNI
Loyola
Drake
SIU
ISUb
Semis:
Drake vs Loyola - Loyola
ISUb vs SIU - ISUr
Ship
ISUb vs Loyola - LOYOLA UNIVERSITY CHICAGO RAMBLERS
I think ISUb gets hot and makes a run. Would not be surprised to see Valpo/Evansville winner knock of SIU (would be the the first time a PIG team won day 2?). ISUb vs ISUr is a hell of a quartefinal matchup!

Hard to say. Evansville with Dru Smith has pretty solid guard play. He's a playmaker and can score outside of the system that otherwise just feeds Taylor. They seem a little more dangerous than UNI. With UNI you pretty much know what you are getting.
