Not sure if it was Saturday's game that cost us or not, but still not ranked in the AP Poll. Unofficially #27. Illinois is at 25. We got 96 points, and needed 208 to get ranked so we still have a ways to go.

#26 Oklahoma plays TEXAS (at Texas) tomorrow - Root for Texas
#25 Illinois plays NEBRASKA (at Nebraska) tomorrow - Root for Nebraska;
#24 Alabama plays AUBURN tomorrow (at Alabama) - Root for Auburn;
#23 Providence plays CREIGHTON (at Creighton) tomorrow - Root for Creighton;
Tennessee plays SOUTH CAROLINA (at Tennessee) tomorrow - Root for South Carolina

I think Auburn beats the hell out of Alabama and Texas beats Oklahoma.

Oklahoma plays TCU SATURDAY
Illinois plays Michigan FRIDAY
Alabama plays Mississippi State SATURDAY
Providence plays UConn SATURDAY
Tennessee plays Kentucky SATURDAY

I think Kentucky beats Tennessee, and UConn and Michigan can beat Providence and Illinois.

If we can just win our games this week, I think a Top 25 ranking next Monday is inevitable.

I think we will benefit from conference teams knocking each other off in season and slide in the rankings as teams in the Big 12 and Big 10 begin to backslide in the records department.

That being said -- need to right the ship after Saturday's escape...Bradley's 2nd leading scorer was out. Of course, you cannot underestimate our loss of Clemons (I am assuming he is hurt and did not lose his playing position).

Schedule Grind is ahead -- Ramblers are a very good team, and Drew made the right move getting Knight in with his quickness against Mast. If the coaching staff keeps improving and we get Clemons back -- going to be a really tough out in March!

AP poll breakdown:
15th - 1 ballot
17th - 1 ballot
20th - 2 ballots
21st - 5 ballots
22nd - 1 ballot
23rd - 6 ballots
24th - 4 ballots
25th - 9 ballots
Not ranked - 32 ballots

Also of interest, Lauren Brownlow has San Francisco ranked 24th but omitted the Ramblers from her ballot.

I'll probably still root for Oklahoma. I've tuned into a few of their games, and I can't help it. They play so similar to recent Loyola teams.

Agreed 100%. Groves (Krut) and Goldwire (Lucas/Ben R) were huge additions, honestly Porter has been able to run his system much quicker than I would have guessed.

Down to 28 in KenPom, 21 in NET, 32 in Haslametrics. Per Haslametrics, Valpo & Bradley games were by far our worst performances of the season. Two bad performances and still got out of there with two wins.

NET hasn't updated yet, still has us as 11-2. So it hasn't factored in last night's game yet.

Nope! Up to date, NET only counts D1 opponents so Roosevelt isn’t factored in
