Although it's not official, it looks like the new coach will be Kate Achter. The head coach at St. Bonaventure broke the news. She was an assistant at Xavier this past year, and before that she was at St. Bonaventure as an associate head coach for 1 year and assistant for 4.

Watson must have liked her from their days together at Bonaventure.

I think she will be good for the program! A fresh face and someone that understands professionalism
I hear she's bringing in all new assistants. Let's hope so, in order for the program to cleanse itself, they need new blood. She will turn the program around. A couple of the kids are raving about her already!! That's what college athletics should be.

How many players are actually on the roster at this point?

There are 10 players with a maybe....Got to meet coach today. Real go getter and good golfer as well. Gut level feeling is she will get the job done in a way we will be proud of. Also if she told me to wash the dishes I would wash the dishes.

I am not sure what this means, but it sounds... well it just sounds weird actually.

To be more precise......If she told me to do something ......I would do it...... and I never wash dishes!
