Lindsey Brewis is MVC Champion!

Cross Country just finished the conference meet. Lindsey Brewis won the individual championship! The women's team took 3rd behind Bradley and UNI who were preseason favorites. Alex Baker had a strong finish and ended up a second behind 1st, so he took 2nd. The men's team had a good race and finished 4th in the conference.

That's really great to hear. I follow the wins/losses and some of the top players from the fall teams, but I don't pay enough attention to Cross Country. It's great to get some good news after a disappointing season from men's soccer and women's volleyball.
