Has anyone heard if we are going to have or have we had a secret
scrimmage with anyone?

According to some tweet that I can't find now we had a scrimmage against SIU. Doesn't say anything about results or individual performances though. Glad to see Brian and Drew are still in contact.

In that interview, Mullins confirmed we played a 40 minute game. Sources say we won 92-64. I think SIU is pretty thin this year, but we didn't beat anybody by 28 last year so color me encouraged.

Salukis were hit pretty hard by the transfer portal, with Lance Jones going to Purdue and Domask going to Illinois. It could be a long year in Carbondale, which would unfortunately probably mean a warm if not hot seat for Mullins.

Bad break for Mullins. I think I would rather be an assistant at a big time school than a head coach at an average mid-major. The transfer portal has made this job so much harder. It says something about LU that for the most part they have faired well in the portal. I wonder if knowing what he now knows he wonders if he had just waited PM out at LU ?
Also what is the reasoning about secret scrimmages being secret when to some point they are not?

Now that we’re starting to hear more about the scrimmage can we get someone to talk about individual performances, turnovers, etc.

If I knew anything more, I'd share, but I don't. Just heard that it was encouraging. Compared to our typical output vs SIU, it seems like we scored two games' worth of points.
