The current format of the MVC Tournament began in 1996-97, and there have been 18 tournaments since. Here's a list of the records of each seed in each round. Interesting notes: 9 seeds have a better record on Thursday than any other seed, 1 seeds have never lost in the quarterfinals, only one Thursday seed (#7 Bradley in 1997-98) has ever made it to the semifinals, 5 seeds have a 4-3 record in the semifinals, and seeds between 3-5 have won the tournament four times.
