As it happens, the writer Elan is actually a childhood friend of mine from NYC who's getting his master's in journalism from Northwestern right now. I'm pretty sure he's going to be on the Loyola beat as part of his sports journalism program for the rest of the season. Glad to see he's getting some love here!

JCT, that was probably him. Short dark hair on the end of the press table opposite the visitors bench
