In a nice gesture of sportsmanship, injured Christian Negron suited up on senior night and, to his surprise, was inserted into the starting lineup. By pre-arrangement with the opposing coach, Negron was left unguarded and scored an uncontested layup at the start of the game. He was pulled after playing 42 seconds to a standing ovation.
