Thanks for the kind post WuFan! Biggest piece of next year in my opinion will be Marques Townes our transfer guard. He will likely take Milts starting spot. Played high school ball and is close friends with Karl Anthony Towns. He's been a bull driving to the paint in the open practices we've seen. No one will replace Milts playmaking tho. The offense will certainly be tweaked; but there's major potential if they can put it together!
Regarding Milts turnovers he definitely seems to have cut down on them this year. I'd be curious to see his usage rates/how often he has the ball compared to Lee. He has the ball so much it's kind of understandable (that UNI game is a major eye sore). Lee's probably still a better passer but I'd be curious.
I think if we finish 3rd in conference Milts a lock for first team, 4th he's likely while 5th is a bit more dicey. I think Shamet is very deserving but may get bumped due to his age; same with Mcduffie. I could see Doyle, Johnson, Lee, Hawkins and Morgan. I'm curious to see if the conference will reward Hawkins given his off court issues.
As for newcomers I think Jackson will be a lock based on his efficiency. He's still 4th in the nation in FG% and is a leading scorer for the team. Custer will have a tougher battle, but could make it given his heavy minutes.
Defense i could see Doyle or Ben sliding in, idk if Ben has a league wide defensive rep. We love him but idk how far that spreads. The locks for that team IMO would be Lee, Bol, and Morgan. Don't know enough to say where our guys fall with the rest though.
I forgot about Townes...team is really good if you can get some contributions from one of the two freshman.
Also, I agree that Jackson (along with Johnson) is a near lock for all new-comer team. I forgot about Taylor from UE, so Custer is probably out (although his performance would have him competing for NCOY in previous years).
