Now officially a Thursday team pending the outcome of Drake/UNI tonight. Also, the RPI drops from 114 to 139.

Wednesday is a must win game to avoid it, but if we can pull it out our seed is still in our control with who we have left. Easier said than done, though.

If we lose Wednesday, (barring a run in STL that includes an upset against one of the 2 ranked teams), we can kiss a postseason tournament goodbye

They said on the Broadcast that they're going to reevaluate Milton next week. I really hope that you will be back sooner than later

You shoot 47.2% for the game and outrebound them by 6, and you figure you're going to win instead of having your second largest point loss of the year. We came into the game a tenth of one percent (.304) from having the best three point defense in the league, and now Indiana State is shooting 22 of 42 (.524) against us. Didn't help much that they got 12 more free throw attempts. Brown just KILLS us-- now 14 of 18 from the field and 7 of 10 from three against us, averaging 23 points a game.

Plus/Minus numbers:

Rajala 7
James -2
Dokubo -2
Turk -4
White -6
Richardson -6
Knuth -7
Crisman -10
Peterson -14
Thomas -24

Ouch.

In the second half it was obvious that without Milton Doyle there was no one on the squad capable of slowing down Devonte Brown allowing the double digit deficit to be erased. Therefore, I was glad to see Coach Moser giving the freshmen playing time. This experience will definitely help them.

RUDE AWAKENING !! TWICE !! I believe they Trees scored over sixty of their points in the two games on threes ! Far too many to state the obvious.
--Without Doyle we are exposed--
--------Announcers said he will be re-evaluated next week--I do NOT like the sound of that
-- Our Freshmen are really pretty darn good BUT still , Freshmen--They are getting nice experience, but being young, the finer points will come.
--I feel James had a weak game and how can Christian go against a guy 5-6 inches taller

We lost truly because of our youth and the lack of MILTON.

Rajala had his best game--

Refs did us NO favors--but that did not cause the loss. Turk was in position Twice that I saw but refs did not. Trees can shoot --but that is about it--Cripes stop those threes and we win TWICE

You're correct, Brot, the refs were not the reason we lost. They just made it tougher to watch.

Am I the only one that feels like the more playing time Rajala would get, the more comfortable (and eventually productive) he would be? He looks to me like he has talent but hasn't quite settled into being on game situations.

Obviously, I want the most talented guys on the floor for our team as much as we can, but I certainly wouldn't mind seeing him get some more minutes and game experience in the next couple of seeks.

To me he looks likes someone with great size and good agility still learning how to play the post...and shoot. The first time he went to shoot free throws today it was like he didn't know what to do. The second time he nailed both. A project, but potential.
