Still have to beat Missouri State Saturday. 18-12 overall, 8-10 in conference, an RPI around 128, a winning road record (!!?!!?), and 5-5 in the last 10 games might just be enough. Add a marquee win over Boise State to win the Vegas tournament, a win on the road over 20-8 Kent State, factor in we were 4-7 without Doyle, and that's in our favor.

Its Des Moines but still the ABC affiliate had highlights of all four Iowa teams on the news: Iowa, Iowa State,No Iowa and Drake.
Nice to see. Keep in mind it was also a night where they had special segments on the storm to boot. So shame on Chicago for its
special handle in transit coverage.

The team was chartering back to Midway. but it was a small plane.
On to the volleyball game tonight at 7 at the Norville.

Much better drive back than going there. 88 to 80 to 235 or 65.
Yeah, its Des Moines but looks like a nice place to raise a family. Lots of families at the game last night. Decent facility.
Storm must have been worse than what we experienced driving. We got to Des Moines at 3:30 and storm hit hard after that especially on I80.
Saw at least ten jack knifed semi's in the ditch going home and one which had smashed through the medium barrier and ended on its side across the highway.
But it was a fast and dry track going home and did the return in five hours and twenty minutes. The ride home was made easier by a nice win In OT.
If we have Doyle back I think we can win at least a first round game. But the loss of Rajala of all people will have a big impact as it keeps us small in the front court.
If we had Rajala last night the big Dane would not have had all the easy lob in baskets.
Coach and staff did a good job of fronting the Dane and Crisman in particular was effective down low in helping out. I would have liked to have seen Dante in the fronting of the Dane because Dante is the best jumper and very athletic.
Home for two hours and no on to the volley ball game which will piss off the dog even more. But tomorrow is another day and then a basketball and volleyball doubleheader on Saturday with the appreciation party. The university is seriously trying to reach out to the season ticket holders.
