Nice report 25--really good--BUT one thing --If I had to go to DES MOINES to kick up my heels, I would stay home !!!

As far as Jays go, I trust we shall knock their socks off--Should be easy , ' cause they do not werar shoes !! OOOOIPS !!!

WE shall be ready for them and should win it.

Milton as always was the glue but Turk was great early. Our starters dominated. The yougsters will arrive little by little--KIRBY !!

GO RAMBLERS !!!

Went to the game. Very sparse crowd. And a very large police presence for some reason. There was a Campus cop stationed on the floor under each gate, facing the crowd. I do not remember this level of security in years past. Maybe ISIS posted a threat against the Ramblers on their Facebook page. In any event, I found their presence had a chilling effect on my fan experience, especially when they all stared at me after I let out one of my YOU SUCK, REF shouts.

As for the game, Turk and Doyle played very well and James and Richardson were solid. The other returnees were mediocre. Rajala made only a token appearance in the first half, and sat the entire second half. Do not know what is up with that.
None of the newcomers were impressive. Smith performed the best. Adgei runs the floor well. Kirby disappointed.

Our rooks are just that --rookies--They will take a tad more time, This week-end will tell us a lot about tem. Rajala could be a problem. though. A week of practice after a game generally fixes things. Offensively, it was nice to see Doyle and Turk move on as if it was last season's games. If we get 38 to 44 points totak from them this year, we will be great

This is unrelated to the players but when I was at the game a lot of the event staff was very rude and seemed angry towards me and my friend. I was not exactly sure why and hope it is not this way the rest of the year.

Oh ! Oh ! That , Fingers, could be deadly. If you are displeased, perhaps you might bring this up to the Powers that be. Staff members are service people and they should know this. You should be comfortable and welcome in the arena. Poor treatment is unacceptable . Let us hope this is NOT the rule. If it is, the UNIVERSITY should FIX it NOW !!

I didn't notice extra security, but I did get asked for my ticket even though there were 1,000 people there and I think it was all $10 general admission.

Agree that Turk, Doyle, James looked the best (pretty obvious). But I thought Ingram and Peterson looked fine even though some shots didn't fall. We looked a little tired in the second half, which was concerning. Also of concern, our front line was 0-7 from the free throw line.

I'm excited to see Smith and Adgei develop. Kirby got pushed around under the basket way too much.

Agree with the comments on the new guys. Kirby was impressive physically - bigger than I expected with very long arms. But he looked slow. He got posted up and beat at least twice by much smaller guys. Hopefully it's just a little rust. Adgei didn't do much statistically, but is very athletic. Has a chance to really develop. Tyson Smith looked the best of the 3. Very quick. He will help us.
