Anyone else following the ESPN Tipoff-Marathon starting tonight?

#6 Virginia lost in a close one against George Washington. Virginia was favored by 7 1/2. Great start to the next 24 hours

Better games tomorrow night with the Champions Classic at the United Center.

I caught the end of UVA-GW. The Tennessee-Georgia Tech game was pretty entertaining as well. LSU looked good, but Kennesaw State isn't much of a measuring stick.

Those are some juicy matchups tomorrow though:
Oklahoma-Memphis at 4pm
UK-Duke at 6:30
Georgetown-Maryland at 8
Kansas-Michigan State at 9

UNI picked up a nice win. I'm assuming SFA is still supposed to be a pretty strong team this year.

UNI is such a radically different team this year. They played 7 guards, 1 forward, and 1 center in the game. The four starting guards each played between 29-35 minutes and the team got only 8 points off the bench.

I hadn't seen that yet. Hopefully their bench develops a little. I know their core group of starters should be pretty solid. but them not having depth is unusual.

What with the VALLEY results so far this season, we may prove out to be one of the MVC's best. The New Mex game will tell a lot. If all our guys and I mean ALL play to their potential, we could win--We do have the guns and a lot of them.
