Turk back in with stitches to start the second.

2 UIC players with 3 fouls and 3 with 2 fouls. We have to capitalize on that early in this half.

Much needed W after two losses. We're now 4-1 against former HL teams since leaving, but only 1-1 this week. Montel makes a big difference.

Pretty dent win--But only that. I did like the spread around scoring--That is what will win for us in Conference. We do have a lot of guns--They should \get better as we go along. PM did a fine bench coaching job all around. But we must board better and we must hit our open shots. We were the better team this day--Our slump over ???

Can we finally forget all this nonsense about Unc Ash being such a terrible loss? Bad teams don't beat GTown or lose by 4 at Tennessee.

And how about a few positive vibes. The ranting on PM seems a bit stretched to me.

Well, 16 the looses charged against us with the exceptions of ND and N Mex are unacceptable. We were SUPPOSED to have been better than last year. Granted that is a mountain to climb--but it is what it is. To date this edition does NOT measure up--The team nor the coach. That is not to say we will not rise in Conf. Sometimes a team takes a tad longer to jell, as it were. It may be happening as of the second half of today's game. I have a hunch that Milton will now be more of a scoring presence.
I really believe Coach Moser is the best we have had since Sully--He can win here. But saying that , I also state that he had an off day against Vikings and THAT cannot happen again. This Fan expects us to win the Valley SOONER than later. Our Heritage demands it, The School has committed to this big time. It is up to him to bring this about. Its a tough business , this NCAA Hoops--But LUC is in it to be top-notch. I really believe Moser will get us there.
--RAMBLERS will surprise the VALLEY this season.

Looked so much better in the second half. Glad we could pull away and everybody could make a decent impact in the box score. Offense against some of their zone sets looked much better as we had someone usually moving up at the free throw line. If we continue to build up confidence in driving the ball those will continue to fall.

Hopefully we can build some momentum headed into the new year conference.

The team defense continues to come around. In my opinion, it wasn't as bad fundamentally against Cleveland State as some seem to think. With the help we need inside, a few open threes are inevitable. But we're not shooting as well as expected. I don't know what the percentage was today, but with the shots we were getting, we should have hit more. We are giving up too many offensive rebounds. I'll accept 86's analysis on that but note there have been a large number of bad bounces in the last two games. I'd like to see a little more consistency on offense. I'm concerned that players may be rotating in and out of the game too quickly to establish any chemistry and consistency. I hope it's not a sign of desperation on the part of the coaches.
