Shocker fans giving NO credit to the Ramblers. They believe it was only close because the fix was in. Disgusting.

As for this team, bummer to see them done, especially Turk, Montel, Earl and Keke. They deserved to keep playing. They left it all out there and that's all you can ask for. I hope the returning guys remember this game and work hard all off season. There is skill on this team...we just need to put it all together.

I'm interested to get home and watch the game to see what the hell happened. It obviously didn't go like I expected it to. Your guys obviously fought pretty damned hard. Hopefully they can learn from that effort and bring it more consistently next year. There's obviously some talent at LU.

Would it have been better to lose by a lot? Somehow it feels worse that they were so close to pulling it off.... Just a shame. That would have been a big one. In the end, if you throw out all the stuff that happened in between now and the start of the season, we were just a little bit lower than WSU... The season didn't quite turn out the way we wanted, but the talent was right where I thought it was.

Next year...

Not me. I can absolutely deal with losses when we give it all. It's the ones that we give up or sleepwalk through that I can't stand, and we had too many of them this year-- that's why we're playing at noon on Friday after a Thursday night game.

Loved the way they played this game. Wish they played more games like this because they did not look like an 8 seed out there. Anyways I'm sad with the loss of our seniors but I'm interested to see who steps up next year like James did.

I'm with ya. Played our asses off. Just needed to make a couple more plays (or free throws). Everybody goes out sometimes. The seniors should feel good about this game.

1.) yes hell of a game/season from a gritty senior class. Hats off to all 4. They will be missed next year. Hopefully they all get a shot overseas/in the D league because they're definitely capable.
2.) absolutely with JCT here. This game is makes the rest of the season even more frustrating with the head scratching losses to Bradley, drake, Cleveland st., Alaska tourney, etc. Like Vince Lombardi said: Excellence is a habit. This program is lacking a little talent-wise (especially the lack of forward depth currently on next season's team), but severely lacking in intangibles. Whether this is a turning point in the Porter Moser era is tbd. Unfortunately it'll be a cliffhanger until 11/11
