I would think that if SLU had interest in speaking to Moser about the job, he'd be interested in pursuing. And I wouldn't blame him in the least. If they'd fired Crews a year ago when LU had a strong year, maybe he'd be a candidate but it would surprise me today.

I don't think SLU has any interest in Porter. My point is Kelly foolishly gave Swoopes an undeserved extension with a losing record. Which ultimately sowed the seeds for Shane to leave. So I guess anything is possible with him in charge.
Kelly is also doing such a bang up job keeping campus safe for the couple of blocks in the surrounding area. How do you think that's going to affect recruiting not only in athletics but the university as a whole.

I doubt SLU has interest in Moser. I know SLU has no interest in the MVC. The Valley has tried for years to get SLU and the answer is always a very quick no. The A10 is absolutely better than the MVC and SLU loves have east coast exposure. They will remain in the A10 unless they get an invite from the Big Priest.

08. I think Coach Whitesell was a good guy and a good coach. I think the same of PM, leaving me to believe that if we want to climb the mountain the answer lies in the details. I hate to say that I do not think we will be successful at the level we want till the U makes the commitment that is necessary and we see an increased commitment from alums as well.

Johnny F...I tried to look into this and from what I could dig up the AD still reports to someone from the Presidents Office. Senior Vice President for
Administrative Services on the President's Cabinet is the job attached to Tom Kelly if this is the guy. Also listed as Campus Liaison to the Presidential Search Committee.

I have another question about coaching and selections. Why have college teams not gone out and tried to get some of the Chicago high school coaches? I feel like they are talented coaches and could help set up a pipeline for recruiting.

Emanuel Dildy one of our assistant coaches has strong Chicago ties having coached at Kennedy King. I also think he grew up in Chicago.

That is true. I was thinking more some of the public league coaches like Simeon's Robert Smith or Curies Mike Oliver. I figured some programs would take them as assistants or even possibly a head coaching position.
