Let us look, if you will, at the record--It is sickening when you really bear down on the year end tourneys we have been in since 1964-65 !! Let us see--!985 to date---two , one where we lost to W KY in NCAA first round and last year--- That makes a total of FOUR in FIFTY ONE years !!!!! We have Sister schools that have participated four times in FOUR YEARS !!

I , as you know have been a fan since mid-forties . Have seen us in those days go to NIT--which was the biggie of its time. We were close to being a fixture then.
Now ?? Miserable FAILURES !! Oh we have nice guy coaches, good players that try , blah blah !! BUT since the ADMIN clamped down on investing--there is that Liberal word again--we have been an embarrassment. But still our fans hang on and hope. PT Barnum would have loved us.

Other Jesuit schools have COMMITTED--Why not us ??? I will NOT accept the fact that there are other things to do. LUC HOOPS should be the thing to do in the winter. See X , St Joe (this year) GTN. and more.

On a personal note, I have reached EIGHTY SEVEN !! Because of last year, I REALLY thought we were on our way FINALLY. How foolish of me. The Alaska debacle hinted that Porter as NOT the man--Our 0-5 start nailed it ., albeit a tad of real coaching at the 3/4 mark or so. BUT when the chips came down HE and OUR TEAM FAILED.
Not PM's fault, he just has NOT passed muster !!
A change must be made--Our Person at the top MUST know Hoops on a National scale--He MUST find the right Coach--But he cannot , if he is hobbled by whatever !!
