This is a good team bonding experience, and it gets us 10 extra practice days. Before the team's Italy trip a few years ago, they invited season ticket holders to one of the August practices, so it's also a chance for Ramblermaniacs to get some early intel on the squad.

As brot correctly pointed out in another thread, our department is funded privately -- by student fees, university budget, and DONATIONS.

About $900 has been pledged toward the $5,000 goal for the team's trip to Spain. Ramblermania has almost 300 members. If half of us give $27, we'll help the team reach the goal.

I'm guessing you can send it to Alumni Relations (1032 Sheridan, Chicago, IL 60660).

Just make sure that you specify that it's for the men's basketball teams trip to Spain (i'd specify in a letter and also on the memo line of the check)
