should we be looking to jump conferences? I mean being the only MVC getting AP top 25 votes has got to be holding the program back right?

(this is a tongue in cheek jab at the WSU folks on mvcfans)

Just counting teams receiving votes past the top 25. Last week 41 teams received votes (we were last with 1 point); this week it's 38.

Yes, but three other schools also got one vote, so we're tied for 35th.
