LU did a great job in scheduling for LU's student athletes this season.

LU has only one game of the 1st 20 this year on the distant road on either a Tuesday or a Wednesday, in the middle of the school week. That game is Tuesday's game against Tennessee Tech.

They will not be our toughest opponent, but the road trip to eastern Tennessee will be our 1st road excursion to a distant land. We only beat them by 3 at our house last year, so I expect this will be a tough game with Averkamp, Payne, & Hicks being our only 3 double digit scorers that night - and they are all gone. But with the developement of Thomas, White, Turk, Osborne, & O'Leary as the year went on and the addition of Doyle, I am certainly not counting us out.

Well , Its early --very early but as nearly as I can tell, we seem to have too many good players at all positions for us to lose Tursday--But you never can tell. I like the RAMBLERS say 77-68 !!

Watch Doyle. White and Thomas with a dashg of Turk to sweeten the taste !!

MAKE THOSE FREEBIES !! There will be plenty of them with the home team getting the most of course.

It's never easy to win on the road, but I like our chances. I watched a good bit of Tenn Tech vs South Florida Saturday night, and Tech was horrible. They are just not a good team.

Per Nick Osborne's twitter feed, he will sit out the Tenn. Tech game, but should be cleared to go thereafter.

He needs to get right. We are really going to need him against UC Davis (and MVC play)

I suffered from a concussion in 1987 after a car accident. I was told what some of the side effects might be, but I didn't feel any of them, so I blew off the warnings. I took a three hour flight from LA to St. Louis four days after the accident, and I felt dizzy (almost to the point of fainting) and horribly nauseous for 48 hours afterwards-- I think it was the change in pressure and altitude. Concussions are nothing to mess with.

Well, I think what he said was that he has had to miss the first two games. I suppose you could read that as implying that he is ONLY missing two games, but that's not quite what he said. I'd imagine that long road trips to Tulane and the west coast are no fun if you have had a recent concussion.

For those who are interested, Tennessee Tech is favored by 2.5.
