We've had a couple of so-so shooting performances lately, so we should be due for a big win. You know if Milt is gonna be locked in for a game it'll be this one. Wichita has been steamrolling teams at home and likely won't sleep on us. Will be tough but with a good crowd could be a fun game!!

Just looked at KenPom stats and its 1 in 4 that we win this game. One in five to win at Ill State. Here's why:
Issues from their stats also show we lack badly in offensive rebounding and we do not shoot an adequate number of free throws in relation to the number of shots we take.
Take that to mean that if we are not making open shots and we are not taking the ball into the lane where fouls are likely to occur while shooting we will be in trouble.
So, in a given game we could shoot three pointers lights out and do well. BUT if we miss, then we will not likely get a put back or go to the line.
Aside from which when you do get there, you need to make them count. We all knew that and I am sure the team knows the same.
Let's go lights out Ramblers.... No one said being a Rambler fan is easy. Go Ramblers.....

It's up. The toughest one I've had to do for a couple years. Many deleted paragraphs that became too angry and frustrated and disappointed to print, pauses to get a cup of coffee, etc. Not one of my best, but the best I could do under the circumstances.
