Some really good points. I still believe that Coach is a defense first guy and to have a team that is defensively deficient is tough( although I think they play really hard and fundamentally sound). It begs the question what will play out next year? This year some of the smaller guards in the conference were able to get to the hoop as we are a little slow footed, and do not have a rim protector other than Milt.

Great post. Outside of bench we need someone else who can finish down low besides Aundre. It's important to remember the team was originally built where we thought Andres was going to be the primary post with Jackson playing a more typical bench role. Who knows what happened with Andres, but if he could have given a solid 10-5 in 25 minutes with Aundre coming in to replace him... team would have been significantly deeper and likely more solid defending around the rim.

Also worth noting that Bruno was unable to play in Spain and in a good amount of early practices while recovering From a foot injury.... same with Tyson and his ACL... Satterwhite was coming off ACL....

Hopefully a full offseason of practice will slow the game down for the two freshmen who show flashes but haven't been able to string the flashes together
