Word on Twitter is Porter Moser and Bryan Mullins were out watching Tai Bibbs this morning. Bibbs is a 6'2 guard from West Chicago averaging 28 ppg. Super explosive going to the basket and has a lot of upside as his perimeter game continues to grow.

He's had tremendous growth in his game this year and was looking like a big steal for Drake (along with Joliet Wests Teyvion Kirk who I'd also love to see in a Rambler uniform...) before they both were granted releases with the coaching change. As of now there's no offer but wouldn't be surprised to hear differently in the coming days.

Looks like Bibbs may indeed be a new focus. 3 star sharpshooter Sasha Stefanovic the other 2016 we are recruiting has us in his final 4 schools (UNI, Evansville, Valpo the others) but is waiting out to see if he will get a high major offer (he's received a lot of interest but no offers).

Here's a more recent highlight video of Bibbs for his midseason highlights... estimates are he added five inches to his vertical in the past year: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xKTb44JqgRY&t=135s

In terms of other recruits there's been no word on Tywhon Pickford outside of his verbal commits listing and a tweet saying we inquired about him in late December... so I'm not sure if there's much there. Our other two offers Mark Smith and Isaiah Coleman Lands haven't seen much movement and are likely going to stay that way. Smith has become a high major priority targets and Lands hasn't been actively recruited since the summer (possibly a Dildy recruit?).

Along with our two incoming freshman I believe his committment if we get it would really represent a step up in talent and quantity. 3 players from the Chicagoland area, all coming as freshman would make me HAPPY

I thought we were already over the scholarship limit. Who is leaving?

My speculation has been Mo is on track to graduate. One year at VT, one at JUCO and two at Loyola. Don't know for sure though!

Still some speculation that Kirby is going to graduate this year and leave.

Also, who knows what will happen with foreign players. Bruno or Granic may decide this isn't worth it.

Nice player, scored 28 against West Aurora the other night, has to take a lot of shots because the team is so bad. Got beat by 30.
