I've never been a big fan of ISU or their fans. This year they've become the front runner of my least favorite team by a long shot. Between the way Muller handled Hawkins, Clayton, and the others to the way they play, I've wanted nothing but to beat them this year. I would be over the moon, if we beat them in St. Louis and cost them a NCAA tourney bid. If we don't win Arch Madness, that would be a nice consolation prize.

Would love to see Hawkins do the Johnny Football then...

One other point, which I saw mentioned on MVCfans and wanted to make sure to mention that I agree with, MiKyle McIntosh is a fantastic player who never resorts to cheap shots, and for the most part I feel that way about Tony Wills, too. Those guys are up and up players--- it's the three I mentioned who I've seen as cheap shot guys.

The bottom line is that we've done enough to only have to play three games to win this thing and we've proven that we can play competitively against whatever three that may be. I would rather win in Saint Louis than in the regular season. We can win this.

Just watched the replay. That was absurd.

Don't wanna lose Satterwhite's performance in the post game convo. He did great in high pressure situations. Fantastic defense. If he goes through whatever Ingrams 3pt summer training was he can be special. Bruno played pretty well from the limited time I saw, I woulda liked to see him get more time but understand riding your guys.

Had a chance to see the game in person in Sunday. Happy with the way the Ramblers played. Told the ISU coach on the way out that they were outplayed. ISU was physically superior but LU played the best basketball except for a couple of offensive possessions. specifics
1. The people in NEAR TO NORMAL-----bitter, wish it was still 1950 and that they were not surrounded by young people embracing a new world
2. Bruno looked un-confident and Coach was on him to take open shots Plus ISU guards a little quicker than him...couldnt guard.
3. Satterwhite looked very confident and very athletic....what happened to him mid-year?
4. Milton still takes over the offense sometimes ....sometimes it works , sometimes not. Do not think it makes everyone happy.
5. We played a little zone defense....successfully.
6. The foul with 3.9 was not a foul!!!!!!
7. Great play to get open look,,,,it was half way down.
8. Milton Doyle's mom is super-nice
9. Proud of the Ramblers

If anyone has the stomach for it, a poster at RedbirdFan.net got a freeze frame pic of Ben Richardson's buzzer-beating three-point shot, just as it hit the rim. From looking at it, it's hard to imagine how it could have NOT gone in for a dramatic Loyola win..... A game of centimeters.
