Absolutely. It is a clever ploy. These Wichita guys stop at nothing! ;)

Clearly, the goal was just to make sure that Loyola lost it's prized recruit. They didn't really want him...they just didn't want us to have him, either.

OK !! If indeed it Does turn out that Marshall poached Smart (who would want SMART now anyway ??), it would be wise to think that TWO can play at that sand pile !!!!

Roosevelt Smart is tearing it up at New Mexico JC. He's averaging 19 points, 4.7 rebs, and 2 ast. Shooting 52% and 42% from three.

I wonder if Gregg Marshall has noticed...

I've been following him. He will be eligible to sign with a D1 after this season and have 3 years' left, per Windy City Hoops.

I heard a while back (can't remember the source) that Porter has washed his hands of Smart.

Verbal Commits doesn't list any current suitors. Will be interesting to see where he winds up. Judging by his long journey to this point, it appears he's angling for a high major offer. Just might get one...

All a part of the larger plan to transfer into Wichita as a graduate transfer ;)

WTF?!?!

There's still plenty of time for him to change his mind, but if this is how it ends it is the worst denouement of a long-running comedy since the final episode of Seinfeld.
