Just a reminder that you can go to the basketball banquet and I think it is the kind of thing that makes you feel closer to the program, helps the program and the kids and staff genuinely enjoy.

I hope everyone comes out because Milton is out of town training before Portsmouth but he's coming back for the banquet first. I know it's only two seniors but I hope it's going to be a nice turnout.

Glad to hear Milton will be there!

It's a great opportunity to hear from coach, meet some of the players and staff, and even make a little donation to the program.

OK I am officially signed up.....so if you are in the area ..get over your sense of uncomfortableness and attend. You might get the scoop on what is happening with the Conference situation and recruits but most importantly you will help the players feel good about their LU decision ....Dont come for the food but for a good time..I guarantee you will be glad you did....

And don't forget the open bar for an hour.

well it turns out the open bar was only 15 minutes before......but a really nice gathering. The players love having the old guys there,,,they are very approachable as is Coach and AD........All very well spoken and you can see the relationship that has developed.....You know with all the slime going on in college athletics Coach and the players representing LU come across as honest and caring individuals....If you have not gone before you should really make it a point for next year......how often do you get to meet people as crazy as yourself about LU basketball!!!
Two side facts ... Our new President has a little bit of helium in her voice and Joe Chrisman will not be coaching next year but ATTENDING MEDICAL SCHOOL !!! How good is that....maybe to be the team doctor one day,.....so I guess that means we are also hunting for an assistant coach,

That might explain why she's a little light in the loafers too!
