I think it's pretty obvious that Drew Valentine brought all his Oakland contacts with him. It will be interesting to see if a pipeline develops or if this is kind of a one class thing. Oakland has done a very good job re: mid-major recruiting in the recent past, so I don't think it's bad. I guess it's all moot unless we sign some of them though...

Completely agree Superfan. Worth noting that Mullins had been working on Brandon Wade for at least six months before Valentine came through. So in that case he strengthened what was probably already a solid relationship to the 1Nation program and definitely enhanced our Michigan ties overall.

Good place to be.

A couple things I ran into today:

I've seen one or two sites list Cooper Kaifes as a 3* prospect. The same sites say some bigger schools are starting to show interest in him.

Also, it appears that we may be out of the running for James Moors.

We've been cut from Vincent Williams list. Likely going to WSU if i had to guess.

That's a shame on Vince Williams. I've seen him play if you times, and he attends my old high school in Toledo. He would have fit in very well with us. I think he will end up at Toledo.

Javon Freeman committed to Valpo.

Well at least we did not lose someone we had already committed like Depual who just lost Tyger Campbell, maybe, as he has opened up his recruitment

Something I never really considered with Freeman is that he was offered back when Emmanuel Dildy was on staff... months before anyone else. Then once Dildy arrived at Valpo he got a visit and offer, and now the commitment; props to him.

Freeman's a hyper athlete tho, I'm really excited to see him play in the valley. Just gotta hope for our sake he never develops a consistent jumper...

Kendle Moore to Drake, another player who kind of fell off our radar overtime. But another player I'll be excited to see in the Valley!
