I was there today and everything was wrong with us. The team was flat, flat, flat. Not sure what the reason was, but it was bad.
Our 2 losses involved our team looking as bad as possible, and both seemed to be a result of the scheduling.
The other common denominator was the 2-3 zone played by both Boise and Milwaukee.
We have no answer to it.
Schedule and inability to score against a 2-3 both fall on Porter in my opinion.
Krutwig has his worst game of the year, but he’s a Freshman and I expect that. He will learn from being manhandled today.
Also, Avery had no energy and Porter seemed to be on him all game. Not sure what that was all about.
With all that said this is the most talented Rambler team I have seen in my 20 years of fandom and I expect the ship to be righted!

Sucks to lose and especially when we play the way we did today. But, winning on the road is tough. Let's not act like we were 20 point favorites. It was 60/40 at best and Milwaukee played well. Give them credit.

I'm as bummed as anyone, but we were incredibly unlikely to get an at large anyway. And if Milwaukee does well in the Horizon it could end up being a Tier 2 loss.

As for the lack of intensity overall, I guess that's why we are a top 100 team and not a top 25 team.

Good week of practice and get after Missouri State on Friday.

The NCAA or NIT would be a successful season.

That’s about where I’m at as well. Move on and regroup. The end goal is still just as reachable.

WIN the regular season and you are guaranteed at least an NIT bid. As today’s game shows there is probably a 30% chance to win in St. Louis. A down day, an injury, sickness, etc can result in a loss. No team this year has greater than a 30% chance. A lot of parity. So work hard in the regular season and get 1st. Too many things can happen in a conference tourney. As such there is probably a 70% chance Loyola does not dance. I am trying to say a successful season is not contingent on an NCAA bid. The NIT is great as well. I think Loyola is a top 2 team in the Valley but that doesn’t mean a 50% chance of winning the MVC tourney.
