SIU fans would probably laugh if they saw someone say Hinson is the best coach in the league, but he certainly has had our number of late.

Among my friends, it’s a mixed feeling. Everyone agrees it’s a lot more stable and better environment than the last handful of Lowery years...but most don’t believe Hinson is the coach that can get the Salukis back to where they were 10 years ago, which should be the goal.

It's a pretty good strategy to run like mad against a team that only has 7 players who see double digit minutes. Now they're fouling us at halfcourt.

I saw a lot of talk on their message board suggesting that the Salukis poach Bryan Mullins off our bench. I don't want to lose Mullins, but I think that might be a good hire for them.

Good point JCT! I think our plan is simply to wear them down with our depth and run like crazy. Hopefully it works out and we can pull away as they get tired.

So our 13-point lead is down to 1.

If they're going to overplay on defense that way, fake, stop, and let them body into you. Pile up the fouls. They only have 34 fouls to give before they're playing 4 on 5.

We're playing a half step too fast. Against these guys, the feet have to go fast and the passes need to be sure.
