I am curious to see if this season will have long term effects on the program in scheduling and recruiting. You combine all the things that LU has going for it over the last 5 years
1. Better nationally recognized conference
2. Great academic school
3. Great academic record of athletes...Consistently in top 5
4. Consistently improving results .starting with the CBI championship
5. A player making an NBA roster
6. Good recruiting classes back to back
7. And now a Conference Championship

How does a recruit say no to LU??? which makes me wonder if we might squeak in one more top recruit this year.
And we have one spot still left for this year Correct ???

Seems to me we have fertilized the soil for the garden to grow.......not saying we threw a lot of s... on everything....aw you get it.

8. Improvements to the stadium
9. Improvements to the locker rooms
10. Building of new practice facilities

11. Proven results developing big men now.

I was talking with a co-worker about LU basketball. Can you imagine if O'Mara came here? A one-two punch of O'Mara and Krut. Just think of the possibilities!

Over the next few years, a one-two punch of Krut and Big Frank is going to terrorize the Valley. With Negron at PF (I think Negron is going to be a big time player for us).

I like Negron but he is going to have to add some muscle to be an effective power forward at the D1 level.

12. Huge improvement in video, social media, graphics, and marketing.
13. Improving attendance and a great student section.

There are SOOOOO many things to be excited about!

A full HEALTHY offseason will help him a ton! Given what players like Ingram wereable to do in single summers it hopefully won’t be too big a problem for him. Especially since he’s local.

Hard to say how it’ll look in game but his jump looked really nice in warmups before valpo, much smoother and had way more rotation. I remember someone posting a while back it’d been coming around during his senior year before injury and obviously he wasn’t healthy to really play until November... if he can add a mid range game and refine his post moves watch out.

The hidden gem is going to be Uguak, the 6'7" transfer from New Mexico. You can expect an instant impact. He is quite a talent.
