Senex is very connected to my experience as a Rambler fan the last several years. From the trip to Kalamazoo and the overnight party in Union Pier to the last trip (I believe to Valpo) with 25 Year Streak and The Calculator Lady where Senex's weakened condition was alarming, we saw some bad, mediocre, and ocassionally some good basketball. GreyBee loved trying to match wits with Senex and Senex must be updating GreyBee on the state of men's basketball at Loyola and perhaps GreyBee is showing Senex the ropes up above.

It is my sincere wish that 20, 30, 40 years from now, the fans will have their own characters to admire and swap stories about.

Vaya con dios, Senex!

Sad to hear of Phil's passing I last saw him in October and he as usual had sories. Along with Frank Hogan, Tom Hitcho, Phil had historical knowledge of Loyola basketball that few could match. Thank you Streak for passing on the information.
