The event might actually be a bonding experience or a rallying cry for SIU and help motivate them.

SIU might ask conference officials to cancel Wednesday's game on account of the bus mishap and continuing bad weather, according to Chi. Tribune:

I'd be surprised if the game moved at this point. Sounds like they might be angling for help from the league on getting a flight?

I mean, think of all the fans who would have to rearrange their plans.

I'm sure the beating that we handed out to MSU is probably the real reason that SIU wants alter the schedule.

Hinson just said on the Valley teleconference that they were supposed to be on the Amtrak, but their train was canceled so they are on the bus taking I-55 up to Chicago. Practicing tonight at 7:00 for the first time since their last game.
