Shockers making the Trees look silly. Leading by 25 and they have been on cruise control. What a great team. It will be fun to watch them in person. And whatever happens, at least we won't be on national TV!

This Shocker bunch is something like our '63 team --accounting for the years gone by. They like we, killed teams on defense--but did not stop there- The carnage then began-on offense---I like the Shockers for at least a final four and then some !!

Great for them !!

It was only a 9 point lead at halftime, and the Trees were mostly hanging in there. Shockers came out after the break and dissected the Sycamores like a coroner, building the lead to 28 with 8 1/2 minutes to go. Gregg Marshall has a personality that's abrasive to some, but he certainly can coach. Throw out his first year in the Valley, and he's 66-28 in MVC conference games-- with an NIT championship, a Final Four, and now a top 5 ranking.

Is it not hilarious that we are sitting here raving about how good the Shockers are --AND meaning it--when all we did back in the day was wish Butler would have left the planet !!

Good on the Shockers !!

BTW, George Ireland was NOT exactly a cloistered Monk while he was coaching--He went for the jugular every time--same as Shocker guy appears to be doing !~!

Until we get better enough to beat them , I am a FAN of Kansas Wheat and those McConnell AFB guys !!!

I hope ISUb isn't fillled with simmering resentment in their next game.... against us... 96 hours from now.

Seeing your words here make me smile. Our team starts with D and we came out the 2nd half and shut them down. Their first second half field goal came with around 1213 left. Cleanthony Early didn't do much, but he's still a threat and it helps everyone else.

I admit that I'm bias but I love watching a Marshall coached team play. Effort will never be an issue.

And I love the McConnell AFB shoutout. We take great pride in our AFB here. I used to go to church with a number of Air Force guys and one of my former pastors was ex AF.

I hope you guys continue to improve and we can eventually have a friendly rivalry and battle for the top spot in conference.

God bless.
