Not that I think it’s right, and I hope he never gets another head coaching job (he will), but the thought of WSU having to pay for years to rid themselves of him seems like a feel good bonus for everyone else.

If a scumbag like Bruce Pearl can get another head coaching job, Gregg Marshall certainly can.

Just for fun, I’m going to prognosticate and check back in with my prediction in April.

I predict DePaul will only be able to get a handful of non-con games in because of COVID against cupcake schools. They won’t play anyone of note, and then get crushed in conference play. DePaul with fire Dave and take a chance on Gregg Marshall.

Marshall going to DPU would make our rivalry fun, but I have a feeling they'll start ducking us again if they hire him. Hiring him will certainly ratchet up my hatred of them.

That said, I don't think they hire Marshall. Their new AD is a Kentucky guy so if I had to put money on it, I would see them picking someone from Calipari's coaching tree.

Marshall...Calipari, Calipari...Marshall. Hard to choose.
