I know it's early but ... any thoughts on the opening day starting 5?

My early guess would be:

1. White
2. Crisman
3. Doyle
4. Thomas
5. Osborne (?)

I think White, Thomas, and probably Doyle are locks.

I could see Turk starting for Crisman, but Moser seems to love Crisman. I could also see King or Cody Johnson starting at the five, but I don't know anything about their progress, and Osborne started a bunch of games at the end of last year.

I think it's too soon for Turk. He needs a lot of work on his game. He's best suited being the first off the bench.

Osborne gets the nod just because of the company there. I can see Cody, King or O'Leary taking his place if he stumbles.

I'd love to know. He's had multiple knee surgeries, but that's supposed to all be behind him now. I guess he's just on to recovery. Hard to imagine that he'll be back at 100% this year, but I'm hoping he is.

This seems very likely. I hope Osborne improves in the off-season because he definitely has the potential to be a great play-maker. In my opinion, his level of play next year may make the difference between Loyola being a pretender or contender in the MVC.
