That's the most fun I've ever had at a Loyola game. It felt like a real college basketball game. What I really enjoyed was simply watching Loyola be competitive due to its own ability (primarily Doyle's and Thomas' but still), and the not the failings of the other team.

Obviously winning is better but having a chance and making plays gets the crowd into it. I've never seen Gentile stand on its feet but in the final 30 seconds when Doyle brought the ball up, there it was. It was pretty cool. It was easy to get loud when the game was like this.

Let the MVC sour grapes be sour. The Ramblers are still a sub .500 team, but, hey, I've got no problem rooting for the Ramblers as an RPI grenade. Just frustrate the rest of the conference and see what happens.
