I have always thought Williamson could make it the NBA as a defensive specialist. If you are not an all around player, you need to do one thing exceptionally. I think that gives him a chance.

I don't Krutwig has the same potential. He does everything well, but he does not do one thing exceptionally.

Oddly enough, I think Aher is our best prospect. He could be a defensive specialist and is a little bigger and faster than Williamson.

I meant to add Aher to this list. From a physical standpoint he’s the most likely.

Meant to add him to my list as well. Probably the highest athletic upside of the seniors (and arguably the whole team) and markedly improved his 3 point shooting this year. Also seemed a lot more confident finishing through traffic in the lane this year. If the right team got a hold of him and made a few more tweaks to his shooting form he could carve out a nice spot as a 3&D wing.

Just about every team in the NCAA has an Aher type player.

I'd be surprised if he even gets an NBA tryout

It really seems like Krut LOVES Chicago. He tweets more about the Bears than he does about basketball. If I were him, I would stay another year at Loyola, get hooked up with a sweet gig in the business world, and take a gig as a part-time consultant (like Barry Hinson) to the team and work with Loyola's bigs. he's definitely got a lot of knowledge to impart.

I'd love to know how Hutson feels about Krutwig and how much he credits him for his progression from when he got to campus up until now when he's the backup on a Sweet 16 team.

I'm guessing that if Porter stays, the seniors stay (and maybe vice versa).

It does seem like the team and players are all very close, clearly that's a big reason why they're successful. I could definitely see him staying for another year or coaching. Maybe he'll take some time off before he coaches though, like Custer enough time just realize that having a normal job sucks.
