So there coach was just on the SCORE...good interview...He does not sound like he is afraid of the moment, mentioned that they change defenses as part of their scheme....even change how the guard ball screens during an individual game. Their center is 7"1 , but he kind of ticked me off when he said he would put his sister up against Sr.Jean any day.... He also said that he would not be surprised if the over/under was set at 60/...expect a tough, tough , hard fought game.......I think it is going to be hard for us to rise to the same level of intensity that we did for U of I...got to put that victory behind us.

I just got tickets, it's depressing how much money I spent for nosebleeds but factoring in how much I would have normally spent for season tickets makes up for it. Let's go Blers!!!

Here's a very interesting tidbit I just dug up. Not quite 100% sure it's accurate, but pretty sure.

Oregon State's head coach is Wayne Tinkle. That name sounded familiar. Then I remembered WAY BACK in the day when I was an undergrad the Dean of Students was named...Wayne Tinkle. I recall in those simpler hippie days when we were protesting there were students carrying signs that said "Sink the Tink".

I am pretty sure the OSU coach is Tink's son.

I’ll be there again...somewhere. Not sure where yet. If we make the Elite 8, I really hope the school is given more tickets for the remaining rounds. It’s ridiculous that the NCAA left so many to the open market (ie scalpers) when the capacity is so limited. Most of the people who bought advanced tickets from general sales have absolutely zero rooting interest in the teams remaining.

That's just the NCAA way. It's more about the money than it is providing the best atmosphere (passionate fans) for the student athletes.

Wow, it looks like we have a Pulitzer Prize-winning author posting on Ramblermania! (natetheskate was nominated but lost due to excessive use of ellipses.)

Welcome aboard Maurice! ...Would it be okay if I send you a manuscript of my musical play Hamilton's, based on the bar, not the Founding Father? It's a sequel to my Little King and I, which is now in pre-production at Truman College.

Mr. P.

Glad to see you join Ramblermania! Just a shout out from the old principal at St.B's.
