If Porter is here next year and Krutwig and Lucas aren't I think it will be quite the marker of him as a coach. Given the amount of turnover on the team it will be interesting to see how he rebuilds it (if that's the challenge he chooses to take on).

Marquise may be the only upperclassman to have played significant minutes for Loyola next year.

I'd consider Norris an upper classmen that played significant minutes, aside from those two you're right. If Krutwig is gone this will be the ultimate test for Porter.

Hebb is pretty surprising. There must be seniors coming back? Unless with Kennedy, Norris, and then Johnson and the Ivy transfers he didn't think he'd see the floor at all next year. The degree of open interest we have out on transfers and HS seniors as well as the amount of talent still on the team for next year means I imagine there will be more surprises coming.

I guess he saw Norris/Kennedy as the starting guards for the next two seasons and wanted a starting role sooner? But with the loss of Kaifes and now Hebb, our guard depth has certainly taken a hit. Next year's roster is quite the mystery.

Oh duh. Norris and Kennedy.

I have to imagine that the potential transfers are:

Welch
Agunnane
Wojcik

And if we see 1 or 2 of those go, I think it would be safe to assume some seniors are coming back

True but it is a fine year to do that. UNI and Drake will be picked at the top. No expectations for the Ramblers. Can restock and potentially shock some folks

The Agunanne situation is still pretty unclear to me. Is he injured? Riding the end of the bench?

Oof. I was super excited for Baylor in the future, I thought he showed so much promise. That sucks.

Maybe Keith/Lucas coming back?

We're so deep at guard, I was really hoping that he was going to stay but he wasn't getting much playing time with Norris and Kennedy in front of him.

How deep are we really at guard, though?

Granted, I don't know a lot about the new guys, but for returners don't we really only have Norris, Kennedy, and Pax? Ty Johnson is clearly a guard, too. That's only four?

If the two Ivy League transfers come, they would be upper classmen as well. In fact my thoughts when I saw them as transfers were that Porter saw a need for Seniors on next years team.

Yeah but we've never really hit on grad transfers before. that's not a market Porter has done a lot with, I'm assuming because they don't get any time to learn the system. I intended Upperclassmen as people who have played in a Loyola jersey for at least two years.
