Have to keep them off the free throw line, or all this work will be for nothing.

Great win!

Honestly makes the early November games all the more baffling, but I'm glad to see the tremendous improvement.

A nice win for the Ramblers tonight. They looked a lot like the teams of the last couple of years: good execution on offense, high percentage looks which they converted, and really kept the opponents from getting any rhythm to their offense. Hopefully, it's a good learning experience for the team and they build on this excellent performance.

Fantastic game, we looked like we have grown a lot and put it all together. Norris, Alston, Tom, and surprisingly Dawson with the huge games. It seems Dawson is getting more time with Norris and Kennedy handling most ball handling duties, and he is playing great. Excited to continue to see his growth. It’s great to see Phil shoot so well from deep, he has been a great pick up. Tom is just such a gamer, right place right time and hustles; he embodies Loyola basketball.

Was nice to seem them keep the foot on the pedal and not collapse, keeping the scoring going in the 2nd was the difference. Turnovers and fouls are still an issue, don’t know if that will be fixed this year but it didn’t bite us today. Defense and rebounding was better, keep it rolling, let’s move past .500.

Great win, looked like they kept the pedal down the whole game which has been a problem this season. Played good defense despite the ACC announcers just writing off the effort as a bad night for Clemson.

Keep it up Ramblers!

Rotation has definitely tightened and guys seem to be finding their roles. Really nice win. And with room for improvement given the still high number of TOs and fouls. Get that confidence up before conference play!

Nice win. Thoughts:

1. We are settling into a nicer rhythm. We played at a nice pace tonight. We moved on offense and the ball was moving too. We were looking to catch and shoot in rhythm. At start of the 2nd half, I thought Braden reverted to trying to do too much. He calmed down we got back to nice rhythm again.

2. Our defense was good. I felt that the refs were not balanced in calling the game. I am not saying we didn't commit some fouls , but Clemson certainly was fouling and not getting called as much. Case in point, before we blew it open in second half there was a sequence when the Clemson player literally pushed Golden out of bounds under our basket. No call and he runs down the court for a layup and 1. I also like that earlier in the game, Alston got lost high, his guy gets a layup and Drew yanked him. Alston didn't get beat like that again. Much more accountability on defense.

3. We must reduce the TOs. Clemson had a ridiculously bad shooting game, and we had a ridiculously great shooting night. Can't count on this every night. Got to get down to 10 or so.

4. Tighter rotation. Dawson beginning to earn coaches trust. He looks like a mentally tough kid.

Let's keep stacking wins and climbing.

Yeah that Golden push down by the Clemson player was egregious. Then the announcers complement the same player for the open layup criticizing Golden for not keeping up!

Right on, Mudville. I couldn't believe there was no foul on that Golden play.

Still way too many turnovers. For anybody who isn't analytically minded, we had turnovers on 25.7% of our possessions. If that were our season percentage it would be 3rd worst in D1. (Our actual season percentage is 26.2%. 2nd worst in D1.) Long story short its a gigantic prproblem. Good thing we shot it great tonight.

This team fixes the turnover problems… which it will… and we will be competing for an Atlantic 10 title.
