That's not bad if it's just students, who I believe are on spring break. We really need to have 500+ loud, engaged fans in that 19000 seat building to not look pathetic as a fanbase, even considering this is our first time there. Hopefully the STL area alumni will come out in the hundreds.

Are you coming tonight?

No. Weeks ago, I got a train ticket for the train arriving at 3:00 p.m. today, and got a cheapo Priceline room for the night, but something came up the day before yesterday involving work. So I had to cash in the ticket and eat the $62 for the room because I've got to be in town early tomorrow morning, in bright and chipper condition. If we make it to tomorrow, I'll drive down.

Next year, little Grace can take over some of the golf claps. All we ask is that you bear the load this year.

What have you been doing in STL, ahunte1? Just family stuff, or have you gone to any restaurants, bars, favorite places, hangouts?

Besides clapping my hands off, I've mostly been working. I got in Wednesday night, worked from my parents' place yesterday until it was time to head downtown. I'll tell about that in the other thread.

Same game plan for today.

I'm hoping to get to one of the many outstanding local breweries. Schlafly Tap Room is a favorite, and it's downtown, but there are others like Perennial and Urban Chestnut that are great.

Your student section may not have been huge, but it dwarfed what Bradley had, or didn't have. I think the Gargoyles may have only had 5 students outside of the band.

And our students are currently on Spring Break. So, that says something.

Is there a better way to Spring Break than one of the best Conference Tournaments in the land?

We don't have Spring Break until the week after next. I guess that way we have more flexibility getting to the opening weekend of the big boy tournament 8-)
