He's a career 28% 3pt shooter

He shot 39% two years ago on a decent volume. Not sure what happened last year though, under 20%, maybe inconsistent playing time affected that. Could be a guy like Des whose shot kinda comes and goes, but that plays a lot better as a stretch four. If Moore can get his 3% up that would help a lot too. We need the spacing so Miles can do his thing.

Where’d that number come from? He’s a career 33.7% shooter but in his breakout season with NIU where he got 30mpg he shot 38.5% on 104 attempts.

https://www.espn.com/mens-college-baske ... avier-amos

(29.4 + 38.5 + 16.7)/3 = 28.2

edit: I assumed similar volume across the three years. Bad assumption. The 16.7% number is off of 12 attempts. You're right that he's 33.7%

Interesting when you compare the players we lost

Francis Nwaokorie
Desmond Watson
Sheldon Edwards
Jalen Deloach
Jayden Dawson
Jalen Quinn
Jack Turner
Seifeldin

and the players committed

Xavier Amos
Deywilk Tavarez
Kayde Dotson
Jacob Patrick
Chuck Love III
Nic Anderson

We are smaller and younger. It appears that Rubin and Amos will start. It will be interesting to see how the smaller guards, Moore, Tavarez and Dotson will fit in with the bigger guards Houinsou, Glazkov and Patrick. Patrick is the wild card because of his age. He is two years older than your typical freshman. Houinsou is the utility knife. I saw that we made an offer to Antonio Munoz, a 2025 out of Whitney Young.

The real wild card to next year could be Chuck Love III. There are instances when a highly ranked freshman quickly emerges and becomes a star. Chuck's HS background suggests he might be such a talent. Here's hoping.

Antonio Munoz from Whitney Young was offered before the season. He committed to a Florida school, but
decomitted due to coaching change. I am not sure if the is interest on either side.

I think this calls for a wrestle off with Cam Krutwig....wwf style. But if it is anything I thought we were missing last year (besides back up at PG) it was some beef....Do not know his skill set or how the Ramblers will use him but it certainly may create some options we did not have last year....

With German additions Jacob Patrick and Alexander Richardson, the Ramblers are really attacking the Atlantic Ten with a Fritzkrieg. They're two tonics to the roster.

Both have such American sounding names too. Compared to Franz and Moritz Wagner, etc.
