I just looked it up. The correct answer is "none of the above". We led by 19 points with 17:25 remaining.

I've heard there is a possibility of a early season game at Michigan State. No confirmation from the MSU website.

Las Vegas Classic field announced: http://www.yourhoustonnews.com/fort_ben ... 5cd21.html

We play Texas Tech in Las Vegas on Dec. 22 and then either Houston or Boise State the following day.

That's the good news. The bad news is that the other four teams involved are Abilene Christian, Southern Utah, Arkansas Pine Bluff, and South Carolina State. I'm assuming that our two home games out of this tournament will be against two of those four teams that are worse than Campbell.

NON-CONFERENCE (9)
1. at Kent St. (Nov. 29)
2. at UIC (Dec. 6)
3. Tulane

Rumor has it that Angelitis will be Vegas during that tourney. He will either be taking Wayne Newton's gig singing Danke Schoen or taking Seigfreid's spot- Murphy and Roy.

Hunte's comment is well taken re the caliber of the Las Vegas opponents--BUT in the eyes of the Las Vegas Tourney folks AND our opponents. we must take what we get--WE have not yet earned better. Now we feel our team is better and will get even better but we have little yet. We must earn a better position.
We have a decent chance to win this affair--so let us do it and then move on.
I like our chances--

I wonder who else is on our schedule---and when will we know it ?? I guess we need an AD for this---and by the way ----------???????

I slightly disagree, Brot. There are plenty of schools with lesser claims that schedule much better than we do. I generally give a wide berth to the folks that make the schedules, but from now on we should be able to schedule better because of our MVC affiliation. If others within basketball feel that we're on the way up, that should be reflected in scheduling.

Almost every team in the country gets a couple of low RPI teams on their schedule-- those teams make themselves available for slaughter games. Our job is to avoid losses to those very bad teams, and pick the best opponents that we can be reasonably assured of beating in home/road situations. The MVC is probably the most schedule-dependent conference in the country. Scheduling and close wins/losses will likely determine whether the conference gets 1, 2 or 3 teams in the NCAA Tournament.

We're members of this conference now, whether our fellow members like it or not. It's not a time to think of ourselves as still a member of the Horizon, or doubt our legitimacy in our new conference. We belong here. We're going to stay here. And we're going to help make this conference one of the best and most exciting in college basketball. Period.
