The line started at MSU -23, and is currently MSU -18.5.

MSU was a 17.5 favorite against Navy at gametime, and won by five. They were eight point dogs against Duke and lost by ten. It could also be a reflection that their game notes (released after the opening line, I believe) showed Ellis as unlikely to start. Or it could be that they read the Ramblermania preview and saw it said an 18 point Rambler loss would be considered a moral victory.

You all are a bunch of pessimists. Look at these stats:

We're better in PPG, FG% and 3PT%. Not to mention, we are 151 better in KenPom rating! This spells Rambler win!

Oh, wait. You mean, KenPom rating is like golf: the lower the better? Oh. Yea, we're gonna get killed.
