Kent State beats SIU, 74-51. And unless we win at Texas-San Antonio on Tuesday, we'll be going into Kent State with a 21-game road losing streak.

UIC (2-6) lost at the Pavillion to Dan Majerle's Grand Canyon, 66-61.

This is a bit troubling. We have UIC coming up and I smell a trap game for us.

If we play like we did in the 1st half and most of the 2nd half of the Kent St. game, there's no way UIC beats us. Key word there though is IF

I plan on going, but it would have been a bit more convenient if it was later in the day. I expect UIC to always play well against us no matter how bad they are.

After the Tulane defeat at home, Porter and the players SHOULD be sufficiently motivated against UIC on Saturday. But we've seen plenty of times where UIC-- maybe more than any other school-- has had much more will to win against us than we have.

Elsewhere around the league while we were getting abused at home by the team predicted for last place in the American Athletic Conference, Wichita State lost their first regular season game since the 2012-13 season (by one point in OT) at #25 Utah. Butler destroyed Indiana State in Terre Haute-- Bulldogs led throughout and out-rebounded the Trees 39-26.

The Shockers lost?!?!?!?

I think Boehner should call for a Congressional investigation with full subpoena powers!!!
