We had a lot of turnovers early but have looked solid on defense. UIC is shot 2-12 from 3 in the first half so we forced a lot of bad threes.

This game is much closer than it should be. I think we're clearly the better team, but we just can't seem to put them away. As soon as we get on a run, we allow them to catch up.

Also, I'm glad to see Moser giving Julius a chance to play, but that kid is not ready.

We've got an 18-1 deficit on the offensive glass. That's how they've got 20 more field goal attempts than we do. That's insane.

18-1 is nuts. We are lucky they only have one talented big. I think Julius getting time and Porter showing confidence in him is important. We will need him to contribute in the next couple of years. We can't have what Porter did to Jeremy happen again.

Julius looks lost when he is in the game and then gets the ball knocked out of his hands when he could have had an easy dunk.
